About this notice
This notice explains how information is handled when you explore GWIND, create a custom hockey stick design, prepare an enquiry or contact our team.
It covers the current website preview. The Contact and Request a Quote forms prepare a downloadable brief; online delivery is not enabled. Preparing or downloading a brief does not send it to GWIND. We receive its contents only when you share them with us through a contact channel.
Designs, drafts and attachments
Custom Studio can save a design in your browser when you choose Save. Contact and RFQ drafts are also saved in that browser when you use Save draft. These saved items may contain the details you entered. A saved Studio design can include logo or artwork data.
Contact and RFQ drafts store attachment names, rather than the attachment files themselves. You need to add those files again after restoring a draft. A downloaded brief or ZIP is a file on your device; deleting browser data does not delete your downloads.
A short-lived confirmation record is kept in the current browser session so the Thank You page can show the correct preparation or submission status. Read our Cookie Policy for more about browser storage and how to remove it.
How we use information you send us
When you share a project with GWIND, we use the relevant information to understand your requirements, respond to your questions, discuss a quotation and work through artwork, samples and specifications with you.
If you later place an order, the details needed for production, personalization and delivery are handled as part of that project. A website design or prepared enquiry alone does not create an order or authorize production.
Service providers and external links
Loading a website involves connection information such as an IP address, browser details and the resources requested. Hosting and resource providers may process that information to deliver and protect the site.
When you open a WhatsApp link, you move to a service operated by WhatsApp. Its own privacy terms apply there. Opening the link does not automatically send your design, files or player list; you choose what to send.
The current preview does not provide online checkout or enable advertising pixels. If online enquiry delivery, analytics or other services are introduced, this notice will need to reflect the services and data involved.
Cookie settings in the footer let you manage Functional, Analytics and Marketing permission. Optional categories are off until selected. No live analytics or advertising destination is currently connected; before one is enabled, its providers and data handling need to be reflected in our notices.
Junior players and team lists
Our junior stick options describe equipment sizes. Team enquiries should be managed by a parent, guardian or authorized team representative when young players are involved.
Use player names and numbers only where personalization requires them. Please leave dates of birth, home addresses, identification documents and unrelated personal details out of a player list. If you believe a child’s information has been shared unnecessarily, contact us so we can discuss its removal.
Security and retention
Browser drafts remain on the device and browser where they were saved until you remove the relevant site data or your browser removes it. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to restore a draft, so avoid saving personal details on a shared device.
The Thank You confirmation record is accepted for up to 24 hours and is kept in session storage. Records older than that are not used as a confirmation. Your downloaded files remain under your control.
For information you send directly to our team, retention depends on the enquiry, any resulting project and applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us to discuss information held about your project. No method of sending or storing information can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can explore the site without saving a draft. You can also remove saved site data through your browser and decide which files or player details to share with us.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information. To make a request about information shared with GWIND, contact our team and identify the relevant enquiry or project. We may need to verify that the request relates to you or that you are authorized to act for the person concerned.
If a privacy concern remains unresolved, you may contact the relevant data protection authority where available. Information held by an external service, such as WhatsApp, is also subject to that service’s own request process.
