About this policy
We want you to feel confident about your custom stick and know where to turn if something goes wrong. This policy explains the proposed coverage and how to ask GWIND to review a product issue.
Draft for review. The commercial warranty terms below are proposed for this website preview and are not yet confirmed as a GWIND offer. The final coverage, any extension, replacement limits and shipping arrangements must be agreed in your written order terms before purchase.
Warranty period
The proposed standard warranty is 30 days from delivery to the original purchaser. A proposed 60-day extended warranty applies only if it is expressly included in the confirmed order; it is not automatically added to every stick.
Keep your order confirmation and delivery record. Tell us about an issue promptly and include when it first occurred. For team and brand orders, identify the affected stick or specification so we can trace the build.
What is covered
The proposed warranty covers a manufacturing or material defect that causes a stick to fail during normal, intended ice hockey use within its applicable coverage period. Shaft and blade concerns are reviewed against the agreed build and the evidence you provide.
A breakage is assessed individually. Photos, the location of the damage and the circumstances of use help us distinguish a possible build defect from impact damage or wear. A broken stick does not, by itself, confirm eligibility.
Wear and other damage
Hockey sticks are subject to repeated stress and contact. The proposed commercial warranty does not cover ordinary wear, cosmetic scratches, paint or graphic wear that does not affect function, or damage caused by misuse, deliberate impact, crushing, improper storage or use outside the intended sport.
Repairs or alterations that cause or contribute to the failure may affect coverage. Follow any supplied instructions for cutting, extensions and care. If you are unsure whether a modification is suitable, ask us before making it.
These proposed exclusions do not remove any rights you may have under applicable law, including rights where a product does not meet the agreed specification.
How to request a review
Contact GWIND through our Contact page or WhatsApp. Please include:
- Your order or project reference and proof of purchase.
- The delivery date, affected stick specification and any product identification supplied with the order.
- Clear photos of the complete stick, the damaged area and any identification marks.
- A short description of what happened, when the issue appeared and any modifications made to the stick.
Keep the stick and any damaged pieces until we confirm the next step. Stop using a damaged or unsafe stick. Please wait for return instructions before sending a product back.
Assessment and resolution
We may ask for additional photographs, order details or inspection of the stick before confirming whether a claim is covered. We will explain the assessment and the available next steps.
For an approved claim, the remedy will follow the confirmed order terms and applicable law. A replacement specification, artwork availability, production timing and delivery arrangements will be discussed before it is supplied. This draft does not promise an automatic refund or an identical replacement where the original build is unavailable.
Replacements and shipping
Any commercial replacement limit, inspection or return requirement, and responsibility for shipping, taxes or duties must be stated in the final order terms and explained before you agree to a charge. This draft does not set a universal replacement fee or replacement quantity.
A replacement does not automatically begin a new commercial warranty period unless the written terms say so. Any mandatory rights that apply to the original or replacement product remain unaffected.
Delivery and order issues
If a stick arrives damaged, incomplete or different from the confirmed specification, contact us promptly with photos of the product, packaging and shipping label. Keep the packaging while the issue is reviewed.
For a cancellation, change of specification or change-of-mind request, see our Terms & Conditions. A custom or personalized build does not automatically remove rights relating to faulty goods.
Your rights and information
This proposed commercial warranty is additional to any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit those protections.
Share only the information needed to find your order and assess the issue. Our Privacy Policy explains how enquiry and project information is handled.
